About Us
Project Goals: What We Do
The Pittsburgh Village Project is committed to the following outcomes for Pre-K to 12th grade students, their families, communities and all who are invested in education.
We strive to eliminate opportunity gaps and increase the effectiveness of student learning through collaboration amongst in-school and out-of-school stakeholders.
We commit to providing opportunities for students across racial and economic lines to collaborate in project-based learning, maker learning & community initiatives.
We work to increase positive outcomes in student and parent engagement and academic achievement, with their voices at the front and center.
We are inspired to nurture creativity and the love of learning through relevant, engaging maker projects and project-based learning that inspires real change.
